Ryan\, Officiating\n \nThe Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd \n3201 Windsor Road\nAustin\, TX 78703 \nPlease join the community of 91¿´Æ¬Íø on Tuesday\, January 21\, 2025\, at 6:30pm for the installation of Dr. Scott Bader-Saye as the Ninth Dean and President of 91¿´Æ¬Íø. \nThe Installation will be a service of Choral Evensong\, and will be held at The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Austin\, Texas.  The Most Rev. Michael Curry will preach and the Rt. Rev. Kathryn M. Ryan will officiate. Since 2015\, Bishop Curry served as the Presiding Bishop and Primate of The Episcopal Church\, remaining in that role until the investiture of the Rt. Rev. Sean Rowe as Presiding Bishop on November 2\, 2024. \nDr. Bader-Saye was unanimously elected by the 91¿´Æ¬Íø Board of Trustees this past May and has been serving in the role since July 1\, 2024. Dr. Bader-Saye joined the faculty of 91¿´Æ¬Íø as the Helen and Everett H. Jones Chair in Christian Ethics and Moral Theology in 2009 and was named academic dean in 2013. As academic dean\, Dr. Bader-Saye led the faculty and student community through significant periods of growth and a rise in prominence of the academic programs of 91¿´Æ¬Íø. He was instrumental in the development and growth of 91¿´Æ¬Íø’s popular Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and in guiding the faculty through the necessary curricular partnership required with the implementation of 91¿´Æ¬Íø’s now highly successful Iona Collaborative. He also led the faculty through the innovative and timely revisions to the seminary’s Master of Divinity curriculum. \nThe installation service will be livestreamed to ssw.edu and 91¿´Æ¬Íø’s Facebook page. \nTo RSVP to attend the Installation service in person\, please use the form below:
